Christie McKenzie, LCSW

Christie McKenzie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 26 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. She graduated from Brescia University with her bachelor’s degree and from the University of Louisville with her master’s degree. Her career has spanned child protective services, targeted case management, school-based interventions, and therapeutic support for clients across all ages.

Christie specializes in working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and those processing grief, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and discover purpose in their lives.

Guided by her personal philosophy of “never waste a hurt,” Christie believes that every experience can be transformed into strength and meaning. Her greatest passion is walking alongside others as they turn their hopes into purpose.
